  • Hello,

Yes it is the same. Why do you want to remove the internal battery?

  • >Why do you want to remove the internal battery?

I have not purchased yet but so far I have been very, very impressed with how easy it is to upgrade this inexpensive laptop and I wanted to know if the battery is also replaceable although it seems that battery replacement is not as easy as say adding RAM : )

What about the network card. Do you know if it is soldered on or can that be replaced as well? TIA.

  • What about the network card. Do you know if it is soldered on or can that be replaced as well?

    • Lan: Onboard
    • Wireless: WLAN/BT card which is located near the battery.

For information, this model is shipped with a keyboard backlight.

    What else?

Right. I read about that. Ne58k9850wg user electric manual blue flame test.

    >Lan: Onboard

When you say Lan Onboard do you just mean EHTERNET?

    >Wireless: WLAN/BT card which is located near the battery.

OK. I wasn't sure if you were just identifyng the WIFI card or also indicating that it is/ is not soldered on

Do you happen to own the E5-575-33BM? The $350.00 US price point seems to good to be true for this intro model. I have been looking at HP and the Dell models which I know have i7 processors and more bells and whistles but cost 4x as much as this Acer model and I can certainly get by for the time being with the E5-575-33BM which costs 4X as less as what I have been looking at. Do you without reservation recommend this ACER model? No heavy graphc work will be needed.

    1. Lan onboard = Ethernet
    2. Do you happen to own the E5-575-33BM? No.
    3. Do you without reservation recommend this ACER model? No because I don't own it.

FYI, I'm not an Acer employee but just an user/customer like you.

  • The link for removing the battery doesn't work. I have a 1 week old Acer Aspire E5-575-33BM that won't reboot after attempting to perform a major Windows update. I want to remove the battery to attempt to get the computer to work again, how do you do this? Is there anything else I can do to make the computer usable again?
  • Hey i have acer aspire E15 and plz suggest me the solution why my lapi is not starting without connecting the charger and the charging light blinks after connecting it to charger and then it starts
  • Reply me why my charger light blinks when i connect it to charger and then my lapi starts
  • Try doing this first. If no resolution, the charger/power cord may be defective. If your device is under warranty, ask Acer for repair.

  • Is your laptop still covered by warranty? If yes then you may go to the nearest acer center to report the problem. they will fix it for free if it is covered by acer warranty, mine got same problem and acer center take only 3 days to fix. And if it is out of warranty it may cost you money to repair.
  • I have Black and Turquoise vertical lines on my Aspire E15. One is right in the Center of the screen, and there is another about 2 inches to the right of that one and 4 are on the left side. They started to appear about two weeks ago and have grown. Have read other threads about a vga driver or possible full factory reset. (These were for other models with vertical lines as well.) Are either of these 'fixes' correct for the model I have? Which is the better option? If these are not correct, can someone help to guide me in the correct direction/fix?
    Thank you in advance!
You can perform a battery reset. Shown how to do here: https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/34843/~/acer-internal-battery-reset
I doubt it will help, because to me it sounds like a hardware issue, because you said it is getting worse. If it was a driver then the lines would be there, but it wouldn't get worse. Anyway, if after battery reset the lines are still there, you should contact Acer in your regeion.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
